Bucky is a sweet boy originally from Korea and has been in Vancouver for about a year.  He’s the cuddliest cloud that is always happy to take a nap by your side.  He’s also missing about 13 teeth, so his tongue is always sticking out in a little ‘blep’.  He’s a silly goofy guy and we love him so much but he deserves a home that is less overwhelming for him.

Bucky has been living in downtown Vancouver for a year and he is quite reactive towards his environment.  We believe that a quiet home outside of the downtown core will help Bucky reduce the load towards his stress bucket.  Bucky is ready for his retirement life.

When Bucky is calm, he’s a quiet and sweet boy who enjoys your company and sleeps through most of the day.  He loves to curl up in your lap, or snuggle into your side on the couch. He perks up for walks too and also enjoys playing with his piggy toy or other squeaking surprises.

He needs a family that is able to take care of his sensitive tummy and is willing to work with his behavioural issues. Right now, Bucky is required to stay on a prescription low fat GI food in addition to daily medication.

We also expect that some of his behavioural issues have physiological root causes, and that enough rest may help him adjust his reactivity in the longer term.

You will have a forever-available dog sitter with us in Vancouver if you adopt Bucky! We are his number one fans and giving him up is so hard, but we just want the best for him and will be grateful to find a more suitable family for his next home.
