HANNA
ONG_27.2.23
Name: Hanna
Age: 7-months
Gender: Female
Weight: 15kg
Breed: Mixed, neutered and immunizations completed, microchip included
Friendliness with other dogs: Hanna is great with other dogs – big or small, doesn’t matter! She’s very gentle with dogs – she will never run or get too close with others but will start by sitting or waiting for them to approach her first.
Friendliness with cats: Hanna has never lived with cats so we’re not sure how her interactions would be, but she does not show any interest to the stray cats that she sees on walks.
Friendliness with people: Hanna is great with people but will certainly need some time getting adjusted with new friends. She tends to be a bit afraid to men who have a large stance and wear dark colours. Through many walks and interactions, she’s become much better but will need some patience to open her heart.
House Training: She is house trained but will recommend frequent visits for potty when first adjusting to the new home.
Kennel: She is comfortable in the crate.
Leash: Hanna is great on the leash
Barker: She isn’t really a barker.
Separation Anxiety: not that we can identify here at the rescue.
Notable Traits: She LOVES going on walks and playing fetch with the ball. She’s a very smart and intelligent dog – we noticed that she is very observant and can quickly pick up on new training skills.
She does get a bit scared around a bike, motorcycle, or skateboards but with a guardian, she feels less fearful to pass by them.
Rescue Story: Hanna is one of the three dogs that a stray mother dog gave birth to in the streets of Korea. We noticed that the mom and 3 pups were dangerously living in the streets and our rescue went to save them.
What would be the ideal home/Personality: She would be a great dog for families who are more active. She loves going on long walks and hikes with her long beautiful legs. She is still a bit it timid so if a family can be patient, I feel that she will open her heart very quickly. She has such a big personality and has so much love to give – any family would be so lucky to have her.
Adoption Wishes: If I were to put Hukmi on a scale of 0 to 10 in terms of his energy level, she falls at a 7. A family that can give a lot of love and walks would be ideal.
Rescue Request: I do not need an extravagant update, just a few photos with the new family and how she is adjusting to the new home would suffice!
