walks well on the leash, and is not reactive in any situation he has been in. He is obedient, and shows lots of potential with training and commands. Jiggy is a sweet and kind dog who needs a home that is patient, loving and in tune with

UPDATE 10/SEPT 2023 FROM VOLUNTEERS

Yesterday, I met Jiggy and went to the dog playground. The playground was much larger than I thought and crowded with many people like a flea market. There were more than 40 dogs running around in the zone for big dogs. Jiggy was not so much excited and he focused only on us ( I and the man volunteer who Jiggy first met). When he met the dogs approaching him, he greeted them with good manners and gave light greetings to those who passed by. He was very focused on us and people nearby eating at the table and wanted some treats but he didn’t care at all about the other dogs near him. I think it‘s rare for a dog to show such a high concentration and be calm in such a strange and densely populated place. Jiggy was by far the best dog ever to come there.

Description: Jiggy has been at the shelter since 2019. He is a sweet Jindo mix with the traditional curled tail and lovely face. He is a staff favourite and he desperately would love a forever home here in BC.

Adoption wishes: Jiggy would love a back yard home and a family to call his own and to allow him to come back to the lovely boy he is after such a long time at the shelter. Jindo’s love to go for long walks and adventures! Older children are best since he is untested.
