Stella

Adopted to Salt Spring Island, BC in March 2018.

Stella

Stella was rescued at 5 months of age by my friend Sunny who got her from her neighbour’s yard in Korea where she had lived her short life on the end of a chain alongside her mother.

I met Stella at Sunny’s house in Vancouver and when Sunny handed her to me the bond was instant. I belonged to her. She has defended me against all comers since that day. My husband hand fed her for two months and finally, when I had to go away for a few days, she let him into her heart too.

This little spitfire has been a barrel of laughs and a bunch of frustrations, but thats what rescue can mean. It’s hard work and we continually work to calm her and reward her when she is calm. Its been two and a half years now and we adore this little terror and will continue to work hard to bring her around (I’m always saying ..I think she is getting better…LOL) That’s the requirement of rescuing the unknown …you make the commitment and you stay with it.

For all her personalty issues we love her character and she adores us! She makes us laugh each and every day. She just might not like you very much when you come to visit…but she is getting better … isn’t she?!

Oh Stella!!
